Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy
Last updated: October 2026
At The Seasonal Press, many of our products are printed and made to order after you place your order. Because of this print-on-demand production model, our approach to returns, exchanges and refunds is different from businesses that hold conventional ready-made stock.
This policy explains how we handle product issues, change-of-mind requests, sizing issues and delivery problems.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or any other applicable law.
Damaged, Defective, Misprinted or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives:
- damaged;
- defective;
- misprinted;
- materially different from the product you ordered;
- as the wrong product; or
- with another manufacturing or fulfilment error,
please contact us at [email protected] as soon as reasonably possible.
What to provide
To help us assess the issue, please provide:
- your order number;
- a brief description of the problem; and
- clear photographs showing the damage, defect, printing issue or incorrect product where applicable.
Photographs help us investigate the issue with the applicable Fulfilment Provider.
How we resolve the issue
Once we have assessed the problem, we will work with you to provide the appropriate remedy.
Depending on the circumstances and your rights under applicable law, this may include:
- a replacement product;
- a refund;
- repair where appropriate; or
- another appropriate remedy.
Where Australian Consumer Law gives you the right to choose a remedy, we will respect that right.
If a product has a major failure, you may have the right to choose between a replacement and a refund, as provided by the Australian Consumer Law.
We will not require you to accept a replacement where the law gives you the right to reject the product and receive a refund.
Reporting Product Problems
We recommend contacting us as soon as reasonably possible after discovering a problem with your order.
Our Fulfilment Providers may have their own operational requirements for reporting quality-related claims, damaged or defective products, incorrect products or lost packages.
These requirements may include timeframes within which we need to report an issue to the applicable Fulfilment Provider in order to investigate the issue, obtain a replacement, request a refund or otherwise resolve the matter.
For this reason, we strongly recommend contacting us promptly, preferably as soon as you discover a problem with your order.
Any reporting timeframe imposed by a Fulfilment Provider is an internal operational requirement and does not limit or replace any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
If you contact us after an applicable Fulfilment Provider reporting period has passed, we will still consider the circumstances and assess whether any rights or remedies apply.
Change of Mind and Sizing Issues
Because our products are generally printed and made to order specifically after an order is placed, we do not generally offer returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind or buyer's remorse.
This includes situations where:
- you selected the wrong size;
- you selected the wrong colour;
- the garment does not fit as expected;
- you no longer want the product;
- you changed your mind after ordering; or
- you ordered the wrong product.
This policy applies only to genuine change-of-mind situations and does not affect your rights where a product is defective, incorrectly supplied, materially different from its description, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee under Australian law.
Sizing Guidance
We provide sizing information and sizing charts on applicable product pages.
Please carefully check the measurements before placing your order, particularly for adult and children's garments.
If you are unsure about sizing or garment fit before placing an order, please contact us at:
We will be happy to provide reasonable guidance based on the sizing information available to us.
Please note that sizing guidance is intended to help you make your selection and does not constitute a guarantee of personal fit.
Physical Returns
Please do not send an item back without contacting us first.
The Seasonal Press does not operate a physical returns warehouse.
For many manufacturing or printing issues, a physical return will not be necessary. We may be able to assess the problem using photographs and other information you provide.
If a physical return is required or appropriate, we will provide specific instructions about where and how to return the product.
Do not send products directly to a Fulfilment Provider or production facility unless we specifically instruct you to do so.
Where a return of a faulty or defective product is required under applicable law, we will provide appropriate return instructions and address any return-cost obligations that apply.
Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Addresses
Please carefully check your delivery address before submitting your order.
If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided at checkout, the parcel may:
- be delayed;
- be undeliverable;
- be returned to the applicable Fulfilment Provider or delivery provider; or
- require additional shipping arrangements.
Where a parcel is returned because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided by the customer, additional shipping or reshipment costs may apply.
We will contact you where appropriate to discuss available options.
If the delivery problem resulted from an error on our part or a fulfilment or carrier issue for which we are responsible, we will address the matter appropriately.
Lost or Delayed Parcels
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us at:
Please provide your order number so that we can investigate the shipment.
We may need to contact the applicable Fulfilment Provider or delivery carrier to determine the status of the parcel.
Where a parcel is confirmed as lost in transit, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the circumstances and applicable law.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates and delays can occur due to circumstances such as carrier delays, peak periods, weather events or other disruptions.
Returned or Unclaimed Parcels
A parcel may be returned to a Fulfilment Provider or delivery provider because of circumstances including:
- an incorrect or incomplete address;
- an unclaimed parcel;
- refused delivery;
- customs issues; or
- other delivery problems.
If this occurs, we will assess the circumstances and contact you where appropriate.
Where the return resulted from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer, additional shipping costs may apply if reshipment is requested.
If the return or delivery failure resulted from an error on our part or a fulfilment or carrier issue for which we are responsible, we will address the matter appropriately.
Refunds
Where a refund is approved or required, it will generally be processed using the original payment method where reasonably practicable.
The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider, bank or card issuer.
Where a refund is required under the Australian Consumer Law, we will process the refund in accordance with those legal requirements.
We will not deduct fees or charges from a refund where doing so would unlawfully reduce your rights or statutory remedy.

Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy available to you under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
Where a provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the mandatory legal right will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
